Join me for a fun and educational Whole Food Plant-Based (SOS-free) cooking class where you’ll learn how to make homemade soy curls from scratch. Soy curls are an incredibly versatile plant-based staple that can be used in countless recipes—from stir-fries and tacos to soups, sandwiches, and more.

During this class, we’ll walk through the entire process step-by-step, including how to prepare them, cook them, and use them to create delicious, satisfying meals. My goal is not only to teach you recipes but also to give you the methods and confidence to make and use soy curls regularly in your own kitchen.

Everything we make will be whole food plant-based, oil-free, and designed to be simple, practical, and full of flavor.

During the class, you'll learn how to make:

Mozzarella – perfect for pizzas, lasagna, and melty dishes

Whether you're baking for Easter, spring gatherings, birthdays, or simply want to learn new techniques, this class will give you the confidence to make stunning plant-based cakes at home.

In this class, you’ll learn how to make three incredible oil-free and refined sugar-free cakes that are just as impressive as they are nourishing:

Chocolate & Vanilla Layered Cake – A classic two-layer celebration cake with rich chocolate and fluffy vanilla layers.
Carrot Cake Bundt Cake – Moist, warmly spiced, and perfect for spring gatherings.
Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Cake – A unique and decadent cake inspired by the popular Dubai chocolate flavors.

We are staying at Rocky Gap State Park in Flintstone, MD the last weekend of July 2023.

Arriving Friday, July 28th, and departing Sunday, July 30th.

Rocky Gap State Park

Rocky Gap State Park is located in Western Maryland’s Allegany County. The park encompasses over 3,000 acres of public land for visitors to enjoy. Rugged mountains surround the park. The 243-acre Lake Habeeb is known for having the "bluest water in the state." The lake is fed by Rocky Gap Run, which winds its way through an impressive mile-long gorge, displaying sheer cliffs, overlooks, and a hemlock forest dense with rhododendron and mountain laurel. Overlooking the lake is Evitts Mountain, named for one of the first European settlers in Allegany County.
