Jam Bars

Serves 12

 

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups oat flour (180 g)

1 ½ cups rolled oats (150 g)

¾ cup date sugar (90 g)

1 tsp baking power

¾ cup applesauce unsweetened (170 g)

¼ cup tahini (10 g)

1 tsp vanilla extract

 

1 cup any flavored jam* (225 g)

 

Directions:

1.)  Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2.)  In a large bowl mix together all dry ingredients. Add in applesauce, tahini, and vanilla extract.

3.)  Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.  

4.)  Using a silicone 9-in square pan* press ¾ of the mixture down evenly.

5.)  Spread the jam over top.

6.)  Sprinkle the ¼ of the leftover mixture on top.

7.)  Bake for 30 minutes and let cool before cutting into bar shapes.
